Don't beat yourself up over any of it dude, the game kicks ass as it is, a glitch here or there never killed anybody. I'm gonna need that walkthrough at some point though, I can't get past the train boss for the life of me and I want to see the rest of the cut scenes haha.

i dont know if this is on purpose but there's a glitch where if you jump and shoot at the ground you suddenly defy the laws of gravity? im sorry but this game is too unrealistic

Seriously, it's pretty much a disgrace to have it on NG without the cutscenes, which are awesome. That's really sad.
Well I COULD make the cutscenes load from newgrounds.com/dump, but what happens then is that every 1000freeflashgames.com n superflasharcade.net downloads it n hosts it on their site.
That means that means that a dozen other sites drain bandwidth from here every time it gets played n there'd be nothin I could do from that point.
So THAT would be the most dickish thing I could do.
A million things went wrong with this but I stopped carin about it back when it didn't come out in about Februaury. Yes it's sad but I'm tryina just forget about it.

The game is interesting, I only found some sparse bugs (there's an annoying one that didn't let me move on Lv2 boss); other than that the game is OK which is good given that you don't give a shit to bugs. I'm OK with having to play it from outside in order to see the cutscenes. The only thing I don't like is that controls seem to get a bit stuck, but maybe it's my fault for refusing to play it in low quality. Come, family, sit in the snow with daddy and let us all bask in this game's warm glowing warming glow.
Everyone's telling me the controls lag like a second behind but I'm not gettin that.
I don't even get that on my super old PC I use to export it.
Alright I'm not going to complain about the glitches, but I just have to know is the guy not talking in level seven a glitch? Like, if I play on a different computer or something, is it possible I could see the cutscene with all the right dialogue? Or did you just forget to put in the voice acting altogether?
Come to think of it, is there any possibility you could just post the cut-scenes on youtube so anyone who has trouble seeing them because of glitches can watch them there?
By the way, I also want to say that whoever you got to voice the devil was fucking awesome.

I think there is a memory leak.
The game gets progressively slower when I play it (especially when I die and have to repeat levels).
Also, it gets wierd if you click really fast.

Why don't you host the cutscenes on either your site or maxgames? I mean, they sponsor the game and probably have a huuuge server and bandwith anyway, so it won't hurt them to host the 5MB of cutscenes.
Ok so way back when I realised I'd have to do this, the first thing I thought is that I'll upload it to my site. I did- A couple scenes ARE on my site.

At one point I had this idea to have an NG-locked version that loaded from here, a Kong version that loaded from there, fuckin ALL-SORTS.
At the point when he suggested this I was just like fuckin WHATEVER, LET'S JUST GET THIS GAME OUT. And here we are.
After all it took to get this game on any website at all, I don't wanna start new arguments about it now- but I definately appreciate what you're sayin. All my games are way smaller now so I don't have to think about stuff like this.
its a really fun game and all and its really good but i mean its so glitchy. it really looks professional and the effects are top notch for a flash game but all of the lag and glitches just bring it down a notch. still very cool though

I know I'd pay 5 or 10 dollars for a debugged version of Johnny. If 60 other people agree with me, we're getting somewhere.

I DID buy a new computer. In about February when the game was wrappin up I bought a new computer so I wouldn't have to wait an hour to export it.
For some reason though- Even though this computer is technically way better -it won't export the game. So ironically it now takes EVEN LONGER to test because I have to plug in my old PC.
I've said it before:Some kinda fate doesn't want this game to exist for some reason.
I can completely understand your unwillingness to reopen a frustratingly uncooperative .fla, as that same thing has happened to me a few times. The game in general doesn't tickle my fancy even though I haven't really run into any bugs or slowdowns. I guess I just don't like the enemies or the way they're laid out. Just kinda seems like a slightly unorganized and unfair battle.

If I just blasted it all over the place loadin from one site then that would be a hugely dickish thing to do.
