Anyways, will any other weapons be added such as more variation of guns or stronger swords or some shit?
I don't know. The compatibility's there for customisation- I definately COULD do it.
I think it'd complicate the whole thing though, after I tried to make it so simple. Especially with it being just a web game, I bet most people would just work out which weapon was the best and stick with it.
Also the levels are- Or WILL BE- set out like Mega Man or Bionic Commando; where you can pretty much go where you want for most of the game. It might break the difficulty curve if I had multiple weapons.
I just can't see active weapon switching fitting into this game very well- and it's not substantial enough to warrant an upgrade system.
This game in development is gonna kick some brown guy ass! You should add some blood animation when you hit the enemies, too.

Man, you may think you suck at script but you get some good ideas for games, and execute them really well. You put a lot of time into your games based on what I see.

It's coming along well. The gun effects are better, but I think the enemies should vary more in terms of color.
Okay now for enemies I don't think the creator of the crunchdown skills will have such a hard time.
About background, 2d is fine, looks better than previous update.
Other weapons would make gameplay more variable. They'd just need to be balanced out so there'd be no "better one".
So far gameplay is really action-packed and exciting, something I missed on Crunchdown. So keep it up, and you'll have something good here.

Having in-game weapon switching could easily scare people away from really getting into the game.
If I make them crucial to beating certain guys, then I think the game would be too varied for it's own good. Nobody wants to read a manual for a Flash game.
If I make them uncrucial and more of a secondary thing, then they're just stuck on for no real reason, and I don't want that.
I just feel like less is usually more in the case of games. Look at how many moves you can do with one sword- More importantly, with one attack button.
True, I'm just throwing ideas out there for you, man.
On a side note, I feel like your the most underrated game maker on Newgrounds. Your games are all fun (maybe a little slow and blocky, as you have said) and original, but I think you don't get enough credit for what you go through to make these games.
Just look at all the hentai games that are just gathered pictures of anime girls naked with scores above 4.00. Now please don't lecture me on how hentai is different or whatever because those sort of games/movies take NO EFFORT. The starfire hentai that (forgot his name) made was still given negative ratings, but people don't see the effort done to make it (as sick as it is).

your other games were decent. this shows way more potential. I would suggest more combo moves, the more you add the more variation there can be in gameplay without making it too complex. it is also kind of annoying to be trying to keep control of the sword when the guy switches to a gun ever time you start moving. I'm not sure what you can do about it without redoing the controls, but it's annoying as hell.
if you're having trouble coming up with Ideas, why not just ask the people of NG? let's face it, there are thousands of people who are full of ideas but too lazy and/or bad at flash to do anything with them and you have very few enemies and your storylines tend to be... well, y'know.

There's thousands of people on Newgrounds, but they tend to have awful ideas.
The background looks really nice now, the ships in the background are a nice addition, it has a nice depth and all.
But: Why do you have to walljump the lighthouse in order to get up although there is a staircase? Is the hero unable to walk on stairs? I like the new enemy though. Good job.
Runnin upstairs is slow and boring. I made it Xtreme.
