lmfao i actually saw that review

also i was enjoying crunchdown until it broke and i was stuck in one area, despite having defeated everyone in site. :C I did like how it was going though, I think you showed me a prototype for it a long time ago, maybe.

how do u make theese good games so fast, is this all you do or something? your not old enough to get a degree even, anyway if you make another platformer make something like donkey king country or with some elements of it atleast, then you will have a bigger hit, trust me, smeone that can code smooth like you can make that type of game a reality

Oh I don't sleep alot, I've got like nerve anxiety. I used to stay awake watching TV n shit, but now I make games til about 3am instead.

And that game allready is a reality; I think it's called Donkey Kong something.

I don't understand why you get the low scores.
Probably because there were only 2 buttons used to fight.
Doesn't matter dude, You make really great humorous games.
Plus, you always find a way to make me cry.

The orange guy loved him, but now they can never be together :(

Or can they?
Please say yes.
You should also consider making a script for a flash animation about the game(s).
Great stuff.

I had a backup plan incase I wanted to do a sequel. I won't do though.

I can't make full cartoons. I just really don't have the patience to stick with em for long enough. I can't see anyone good makin a cartoon about my games.

man i admire you.your games are awesome am judging for the codes yoy had on your games you go well around the script(i'm a games animator7programmer too).the demo game it's exelent!!!it remind me( a litlle) to devil may cry,you would inprove some graphics(like giving a face to the character)but that isn't imperative.the animation is fluid and the code does not produce lag.it's potential is as hig as the light house you drew(lol)but you should make more guns (like i saw on other reviews)more monsters with different colours and make the wall jump with less gravity(i dont know if you understan this,i mean that you could climb a wall only with the wall jump.this would qi¿uit some difficulty to the outcoming game but would be cool).
there's no need to add 3D in this game but if tou need anithig i'm also a 3D animator(just see mi userpage).
you definetively got somthing with YeahBabyGoYeah and a succes with Crunchdown.so keep up the good work!!!

I talked about the guy's face a couple comments down. I talked about multiple guns a couple comments up.

At first you could scale any wall by wall-jumping. I stopped that though, because then you'd be able to jump over anything, and that's bea dumb move from a game design point of view. You allways have to limit the player somehow, or the game'd be too easy to break.

Crunchdown was awesome, but I wish it was a bit longer? Awesome storyline. We still don't know if he died!

I ASSUME he did.

I-smel, link me to the .FLA of the 3D ball chase?
I find it interesting.

Also, add a face to YeahBabyGoYeah Alright Guy, "I think it'd be cool"(this is me trying not to sound rude via internet-- I think I do it all the time...)

Keep it up and Thanks in advance.

PS. I'm still waiting your explanation about this game's name.

No. I can't just give out the .FLA, that's crazy.

I don't think I'll add a face to the guy. It's too much detail in too small a space and it'll look stupid. You WILL see his face later though. He definately has a face.

I've bin waiting for someone to ask about the name!
When playing Devil May Cry, you do a load of crazy combos, and each move is usually linked to a sound effect. Usually it's like HURR HYA HWUR HUR HURR HAHHH!!
That's what you'll hear while playing the game. Sometimes it's voice clips though- And it's allways something stupid. Dante's are "BLASTOFF", "BREAKDOWN!", "ARE YOU READY??" and "DOWN N OUT!"
Nero's are "CRAZY!!", "SLAM DUNK!!" and "BE GONE!"
Now whenever one o my mates mentionsDevil May Vry, someone has to say BLASTOFF BREAKDOWN HURR HWUR HYAHH!! in a stupid fast voice.

That's where YEAHBABY GO YEAH- ALLRIGHT!! came from. It sounds like a combo.

THIS PARTY'S GETTIN CRRRAYZEH!!

sweet IM STUCK HA HA HA

HAHAHAHAHA.

You are an incredibly talented game developer. I must admit I was equally surprised at the reaction to Crunchdown... While it did have a couple of game crippling glitches, the sheer amount of work and detail in it was amazing. Your new game looks great too! You have a real knack for creating easy to use inventive game concepts and controls. I know its disheartening to receive negative feedback on your work, but you shouldn't quit making flash; while there's always room to improve you're really really good at it.

uhmm I left it load for like 2 hrs and the preloader doesnt move same thing happend w/ co-operation man. Have any fix on this? And im on a broadband so my net is fast, I really wanna play Crunchdown everyone says its good and challenging which the perfect kind of game for me :(

My games have dynamic music volumes, so you you can allways pause the game or mute it. To get that, I need to export the music as actionscript. Flash only let's you export audio on frame 1. Unlucky for me, it allways decides to export the audio BEFORE showing the preloader, so you get a couple minutes of a blank screen while it exports the audio before the preloader comes on.

If you get a white screen, that's what it is. Just keep waiting for a while and the preloader'll show up eventually.

Maybe if you got the preloader on scene 1 and music and etc on scene 2 you would have a preloader before the music load, and then you could sustain it as you load music as well.

And okay, I didn't know you were taking the 3d ball chase seriously, so I thought I could learn the technique for the tail-- anyway, thanks for the response. I apologize for this.

Waiting to see our hero shouting "yeahbabygoyeah-allright!!" all over the place.

I unlocked the yellow guy and i gotta say he pretty badass.but unfortunatly, the gangsta guy at the end of the first level started to get cheap and wupped me.but oh well. anyway, i dont care if its a rip off kirby. its damn good and its mint. u get extra points 4 it being mint flavored.and i love the art style.very original. keep makin games man. i expect another one soon.

I could help you with the creation of characters, backgrounds and stuff. I'm a pretty good artist. I have awesome ideas for bosses! but if you want to do it alone I under stand. I can't even animate with my brother couse I want to create exactly what I see in my head.

Also were did you learn your crazy action script skills?, couse I have such great ideas but I hardly I know the basics

cruchdown is sweet!!!!!
