Thats messed up about the game developer. How lame it is they felt the need to lie. There are plenty of people aside from yourself that would've been happy to help...
oh, no- He was genuinely offering a position. It's that I stopped him after awhile and just said "What's the actual problem?"
Then he told me and I told him how to fix it.
He was like "Oh. Well, now that's fixed. I usually pay people by the hour, but that only took like 20 minutes"
