hahaha i know what you mean. its been collecting dust on top of my tv and crying itself to sleep every night for probably at least 2-3 months
similar happened to me. my friends got into grass and i didn't. i went off to college. pretty much everyone went to a different one. but the thing is, during winter breaks and summer breaks i only hang out with a couple people i've known for years cus of neighborhood and whatnot. i roomed with a couple people from my high school, they turned out to be jerks but i've joined clubs and made a lot of friends. just wait. there will be someone that doesn't take you for granted. :)

I guess the question is, did they stop inviting you because they didn't want to hang out with you, or did you just drift apart because you went to a different school? If you are waiting for them to invite you but you don't take the first step to reach out, they might assume you are blowing THEM off... So maybe you just need to take that first step to re-engage. There are plenty of high school friends that I don't see anymore that I assume have moved onto their own stuff - I wouldn't know if they were quietly waiting for me to contact them. I probably don't understand the whole situation though.
Anyway the game demo with carrying the people is fun! Maybe you could have some puzzle concept where like you are saving people, but sometimes you have to sacrifice some people for the greater good of saving even more people. Like you gotta throw someone under a closing door to stop it, or into some gears to jam them before a giant machine crushes a bunch more people, or something I dunno just tossing ideas around.
I think it's both reasons.
It's so shit askinf if there's anythin goin on. If they say no, you don't know wether it's true or not. If they say yes, Id probably just end up as the guy who came even though noone invited him. That's not great. I've definately got a fear of rejection or somethin here.
Oh that'd definately be a puzzle game. Like carrying 10 people at once would ruin your jumping. So if the last guy was stuck upstairs you'd have to put everyone down, go get him, and come back. I could probably even have it so you can put em down, then jump on them to get to higher places. Throwing em definately works. It'd be kinda sad, but also kinda funny, to throw people into lava to make stepping stones.

Yeah I definately know what's that's like. I use to go to public school and had a LOT of friends. Some good ones too. But then I started getting home schooled. Imagine that? I never got invited ot anything from my friends and finding them o the internet seemed impossible. Now I have almost no friends left. I agree with Tom about them thinking you've blown them off (it's happen to me before). I hope you pull through man and I'm sure you'll make some new friends at this college. Idk. Anyway hope you pull through man.
