So much text. It just hurts in my eyes. D:

Click on "Novermber 24th"

Looking very nice, I like the close range mouse-driven melee stuffs.

That is freggen awesome, its coming along great! were did you learn to script like that!

This place called Newgrounds. I don't think their around anymore.

Is the certificate cooler in real life than shown on the site?

All things considered it's about the same. Alot bigger in real life though.

This could become one of the greatest Flashgames of all time, haha.

d'aaww you guys

WOW! That game is awesome! And I totally agree with molkman - this could become one of the greatest Flash games of all time!

y'all know how to make a girl blush

Looks good, few notes:

The guy mentioning a chest meant the HOUSE in level one, the chest i earlier said was too hard to get. I just tried and it was there, but sometimes it does indeed not show up, ive experienced that bug before and assumed you removed the chest. While talking about the house, i said it was too hard to get that chest and you told me to jump onto the roof on the left side and then onto the loft, but unless theres some special super-jump i dont know of, the distance between the little roof or whatever it is, is just too big for a normal jump. Could you explain in detail what exactly to do to get up there because ive really tried everything.

In the second level there is a quite weird bug. What you do is in the start with the spinner, you walk to the left wall and wait until he rolls towards you, then when hes near you jump over him and do that charge-stab whatver that move where you press A or D twice in a row is. The spinner will disappear completely. Now thats somewhat odd, but it gets more odd: <a href="http://img444.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bugfl2.jpg">http://img444.imageshack.us/my.php?im age=bugfl2.jpg</a> So uhm yes somehow he got up there and will just keep trying to attack.

Okay so i just did some more testing and i know whats going on now, ill leave the above stuff just so you know how to reproduce this bug. But anyway what happens is that when you charge at it, it will move upwards if it cant get knocked back. I got it to the crates and charged it, it went on top, i jumped up again and got it on the largest stack of crates, then i knocked it down on the right side of them and charged him against the large stack of crates, he went right up. So im assuming when you charge him against the left wall at the start of the level, he goes on top of the whole level and stays there. There might be more to it, not sure.

Okay, you jump on the small roof of the house, hold UP and RIGHT and keep shooting down. You'll wall-jump into the loft (maybe).

Fixed

Love the looks of the second level.

*Am I correct to assume that the text on level 2 boss will stay, and were you trying to reference to CannonCrotch?
*On the fight, there are 2 green lines on the brick, making an x, but they fade in and out when you shoot.
*For the paper money problem, you could sloppily stack it. Is that british currency, or some random picture? I know you probably are influenced by sectionalizim, but most NG users are american, but then again, its your decision.
*L love the flashlight-mouse idea for level 2.
*On level 1, if I got to the right of the lighthouse, theres an invisable wall, and i cant get my pirate booty form Mr. treasurechest. >:(

Love the idea for level 2. Can't wait for it to be longer!!!

*At first I was, but have since toned it down.
*I don't know what you mean.
*Yeah I'll make the stack more askew. I don't know what sectionalism is, but if using £s tells people it's made by a British developer then I'll use £s. Also, Americans don't have dollar coins. which would ruin my HUD.
*Fantastic
*That's a good point, I've never approached the chest from that direction.

the new moves never happened to me :(

I should make them happen more often.

Hm i couldnt get your method to work but it doesnt matter, ive nearly perfected the jump from the right side so i should be fine no matter what. Found two more bugs though

When you charge the gundog, it will change direction. Im not sure if this is intentional or not but its the only way i can make it change its direction and it makes it a really easy way to kill them, since you can charge them from the back and charge back and forth, always staying safe.

When on the little roof, jump and press D twice for that air charge and then you can smash objects inside the house, while outside. The two objects close to that wall can be smashed from outside. Also this works at the invisible wall in the lighthouse (mentioned earlier), you can go near it, do a jump and press A twice and itll smash not just the lamp but also the chest in one go.

For boss #2 the background color of his health bar changes. Does it get brighter when he's about to fire or something?

Yep

Ive done more testing:

If you slowly creep up to the first boss and shoot him once, he will be stunned for all of the first fight making him a really easy kill. The shot will trigger the text btw so maybe its linked to that.

Speaking of the first boss, couldnt you make the sword do more damage to him, considering how much harder it is to deal hits with the sword, than the gun. Im guessing you want people to use the gun on him but why not reward the ones who go the extra mile.

Sticking to the wall on the second boss is still very effective, with a little skill you can dodge the gun and that arm 9 out of 10 times and it is much easier that way. Not sure, keep the arm as a random move but also trigger it off 3 or 4 walljumps in a row maybe? The arm alone as a random move really doesnt help because its not very precise so unless you get stuck on a platform while walljumping it wont hit. Maybe trigger it when there has been 3 walljumps in a row or something?

what wiiporter is trying to say is that every once in a while when you get to the first boss he doesn't do anything but lets you shoot him and fall down. (it happened to me my first playthrough)

i dont know if its just my bad luck for randomness or something, but whenever i got into range of the giant flesh colored boss, the tentacle attack came out and hit me. also, the giant freaking laser cannon takes too long to charge up, and you can run away from the boss way too easily by just falling accurately, so maybe you could have it so that as soon as you stop, instead of him being all the way back up there at the speed he was going at, you could have him somehow instantly've teleported down to where you are (gah run-on sentence).

This game is comin out good. there is ust one glitch that ive spotted to far. on boss2, i charged into the wall closest to the boss and you end up like, on top of the level. from the "top" u can actually jump "out" of the level and fall infinitly. its weird, u pass the boss, and the backround seems like it gets smaller.

Very good! The only complaints/suggestions I have are the following: Boss two does not die once his HP is 0. Maybe along with the melee special (flying blades), how about a gun special, such as lazers or a missile? The crab is a little hard to climb, but it might be just me.

i found another glitch. hehe. i double tapped the side button, and charged into the one wheel guy in lv 2. he hit the wall to the left, the one that u start next to at the beginning, and he dissapeared for several seconds. then i just saw him fall on the black outside part of the wall. he just fell and then u never see him again. cool, another way to one hit kill the enemy. lol XD

also for some reason, when i went straight to the falling boss level, i never saw the boss. at all. (this was after the first one). more bad luck maybe?

one more thing. after i got far enough down to see the nothingness at the bottom of the new building (or maybe you just made it longer?) there were invisible floors. for about four levels (four of them).

More bugs:

I said this earlier in the post "If you slowly creep up to the first boss and shoot him once, he will be stunned for all of the first fight making him a really easy kill. The shot will trigger the text btw so maybe its linked to that." but thats a mistake, there IS a bug where the boss will freeze for all of the fight, and i tried this method twice and he did freeze, but as some other guy mentioned its just something that happens at random times and i have not been able to reproduce it with my method so i might just have been unlucky those two tries. Anyway on to the real bugs.

In level 1 if you go through the house with the leeches, jump up and leave the house, everything in there will be despawned, meaning objects you can smash, leeches and the CHEST that sometimes had been disappearing on some of us. So that is probably the solution to why it wasnt there, we went out of the house and got back in (with your walljump + shoot method) and then it was gone. Its not just the chest its everything in there that will be gone.

Also in level 1, if you jump on the boat and wait for a few bats to appear and then jump back to the ground, you get an easy time killing them. Now this isnt the real bug but its somewhat flawed that you can do that. Anyway, the problem is when you then get back into the house because the bats will follow and actually damage you while inside the house. They just go right through the roof and into the building, it looks really odd.

In level 2 if you stand here: <a href="http://img368.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bugse2.jpg">http://img368.imageshack.us/my.php?im age=bugse2.jpg</a>, jump and tap D twice (that weird charge) then youll magically appear on the little platform where the red dot is on my screenshot. This does not seem to work on the one to the right.
