Sorry. I cry out for attention. And, I'm not witty enough to think of anything other than to post "cock joke" on all the front page posts. So there. :D

I have an idea for the final boss. It could be the lighthouse keeper, who's pissed at you for wrecking his stuff. He looks old and senile, but then he could rip his shirt like Ebenezer Bearshark in Crunchdown and be ripped, or he could get in some lighthouse shaped robot or something. Kinda lame, but oh well. I love all your great work. I hope this game is even better than your others!!!

You guys are gonna kick yourself when you find out what the actual plot is.

Is it:

2,000 years ago the human world was ruled over by the demon world. However, one of the demons, the legendary dark knight Sparda, awoke to justice and defeating the evil emperor Mundus sealed the demon world away from the human world. He then sealed his own darkest powers away (fearing he would become a threat to the humans himself) and assumed a human form, living among the humans, and for 2000 years he preserved the harmony of the worlds. Eventually Sparda fell in love with a human woman called Eva and had twin half blood sons, Dante and Vergil. However, Sparda died, and shortly after, Eva was killed in a demon attack that separated the two sons. Hating the demons for taking away his mother and his brother from him, Dante becomes a demon hunter and continues his fathers work, seeking revenge. 20 years on, Dante is called to Mallet island on a job, and comes face to face with an ancient enemy of his fathers

Hmmm? Is that the super secret plot?

Absolutely nothing like that.

"One would think that defeating a giant crab monster may require a copious amount of butter and hot water. Perhaps some tongs."
I have something to add to that. Maybe you could have a "Get It!" moment, like in the Kirby games. ... Or just draw a cock joke on it and that's how you kill it.

Nice, but I see a problem.

The variety of enemies is great, but the variety of enemies...is great! What I mean is, there should be about two types of enemies for a single level to keep into into the same scheme. The little brown balls that jump on you in the house is nice and the wheeling enemies that roll across the screen, but the consuming monster and the greyhound cannon seem a little out of place.

Now, for an idea for the enemy crab. Make it so the boss on top shoots lightning down on you while you have to cut down the crabs legs and paralyze it. Once that's done you get to fight the guy himself or he runs away.

Also, here's some suggestions for music:

You're right about the enemies. I should introduce the dog cannon somewhere else. The thing about the game is- It's not a traditional level progression where I can gradually introduce enemies. The levels are kind of set out like Mega Man, you go where you want. I'd LIKE to be all professional and give every enemy it's own scene, but that's not how this game is. You are right about the dog though, he'll be for another level.

Enemy crab's allready made. You were pretty close to the real thing actually. I was planning on having the guy shoot lightning, and I'll be adding that this week anyway.

Music- Thanks alot. I usually dig around the audio portal and save a load of stuff.
I've allready got that first one saved. It's so great. I'm thinkin of usin it as the menu or PRESS START music or something. It so fits the game.
Second one I felt like it didn't suit this game or the hardcore kinetic smashfest of it.
Third one I loved. Downloaded it. I don't know how I've missed that one.
Fourth one, I didn't get it. It's just too noisy.

Thanks for the nice read about deathworm.. Sorry I took so long to read it :)

makes sense.
