Download "SoThink SWF decompiler" and decompile the swf. Some art is always lost, but not much usually.

Shit, that really sux man... Always ALWAYS backup your work, cause shit like this can happen. I don't know if its the program's own errors or if it's a hard drive related issue, so I can't really help out...
Dude, you can upload it to " yousendit.com " or " megaupload.com ".
This way, you can keep things private. (private enough).
If the .SWF decompiler doesn't work, I'm afraid you have to do it all over again.
You still have the .swf? Cause you could "import" that, into an empty .fla.
And see what happens.
If nothing works, you'll have to start over from scratch.
