Course it fuckin does.
the movements are kinda slow and the characters are really bland, but the rest is pretty nice.
I think the slowdown shit is general framerate business. That'll be fixed once I compress it all at the end, change the background to a .PNG, all that shite.
And I'll make some more enemies, but I like the main guy cos he's so versatile and it's easy to make new powerups for him.

OH I just remembered: If you eat an enemy, you have two moves. Press S for an uppercut, hold S for a haymaker.
That kicks all unholy ass. Heres a few ideas for some weapons like you asked.
-slinkeys to wrap around your arms or something
-pens that you throw at people
-if you hit the garbage can instead of eat it, make the lid a weapon
-a blender that you find in the streets were you rip off the top
-hobo boxes you can put over people so their easier to eat
-beer bottles that you can beat people with or throw
and some abilitys...
-3-d glasses that make 2 of you, one facing left, the other facing rights, double the beating
-news paper stands that turn you all black and white that let you shoot razor paper
-a broken computer monitor on the side of the street flashing your game... and when you eat it it will give you a cannon crotch gun...
-a bunch of flowers that let you spray a gas that puts enemys to sleep
-a weird bunch of machine parts that turn you into a giant spring that jumps off screen leaving a little crossair you can move along the floor, then 3 seconds later you come crashing down
I dont program, but i bet this shit must be hard as hell to make. But i will be sure about this, you are getting pretty damn close to dan paliden, and if you keep it up with thease kickass games, you might be an important newgrounds dude along with lucas and tom.
JOMGTHANKS. I love the games that come out when TomFulp n DanPaladin team up. I've got the same philosophy of takin timeless arcade mechanics n makin a new substantial game.
Right so weapons: I don't get how slinkies would work, but it's a good idea to have something extend out from your arm.
They'll be objects for throwin. I'll come up with somethin good for that.
A blender wouldn't fit in the streets, but it would be good for some kind of industrial level.
Cardboard boxes to put over people: Genious.
Beer bottles: Done.
Abilities-
3D glasses what make two of you, no that'd be weird. What could be big enough to eat that represents that? Also, why would they be facin opposite ways? Why isn't there two of anything else? Nah, that one's too complicated.
Newspaper stands- Maybe, if I could think of a more suitable abilty, cos you don't associate newspaper with shootin anything. You did just give me a good idea to have a photo copier/printer in a later level though: His mouth'd be a rectangular hole, photocopier light'd shoot out of it, then you'd just get a constant stream of paper shootin out. Not razor sharp paper, just paper. It could be useless but funny.
I have a sneaky idea that I don't know if I can even do or not: I might have an award for finishin the game where you can play through it as CannonCrotch, losin the ability to eat stuff, but gaining the ability to shoot and use grenades.
Puttin enemies to sleep might be useful, but I want to think of somethin more suitable for it than flowers
Te last one's a good idea, but it'd work better as a rocket or missile.

It slows down on my PC. If it's like that on mine, it's bound to be the same on someone else's.
Really really like it. Love the concept and art. Runs a little bit slow on my computer but I'm sure you'll have that sorted when it's released. I can't think of any improvements just keep doing what your doing. I'm very impressed and I can't wait to see the finished version.

Liked the thing about being able to eat things, only it looks kinda weird when the round guy walks through everything. Ull fix that, I think.

Really neat concept. I think this one is going to turn out quite well.
I think there should be a spit button ('D' for drop?) that turns whatever is in your mouth into a missile and gets rid of it. Say you're walking around with a garbage can and you want to pick up a more awesome power, like a fire hydrant. With the current engine, you would need to jam S and watch your character barf for 15 seconds. O_o
Also, does the dog do anything?
The dog is a trap. If you eat a dog, you're just stuck with it until it runs out.
Hopefully you'll learn you're lesson and stop eating dogs.
I might add the ability to drop stuff, but I don't wanna make it exactly like Kirby.
It's okay. I'd suggest having more detailed graphics that stand out more... And right now, it's pretty hard to get hit by the enemies =P
